SAREE THE TRADITION WITH STYLE

Hello Ladies!

Today I am going to share with you all my Favorite way of Draping A Saree,

Saree draping is nothing but a strip of cloth being wrapped around a beautiful body. Do you know that the word Saree was taken from A Sanskrit Word 'Sati' which means 'A Strip Of Cloth'.

And it is because of this simplicity that we can shape it into a hundred different styles. When draped aesthetically, there is no argument about the saree being the most graceful and versatile garment for a woman. Our Bollywood Diva's are just proving that this simple traditional attire of our culture is really classy too.

The origin of draping a saree is several centuries old – apparently it was first recorded in the Indus valley civilization. However, the modern 6 yards saree evolved from the original two-piece garment of yesteryears. In the beginning, saree is believed to have been a garment for the lower body only. This style can still be seen on temple sculptures which show goddesses and dancers wearing a dothi-wrap. This fish-tale saree wearing style loosely covers the legs and has long decorative pleats down the front. This saree drape not only facilitated easy movement but also made the wearer look more feminine. None of these historical examples show bodices. Usually the upper body was left bare or another piece of cloth was used to cover it. This tradition is still alive in Kerala’sMundum-Neryathum and Assam’s Mekhela Chador.

So I am going to list down some really interesting ways of draping a Saree:

#1. Bengali Style Saree Draping:

It is one of the easiest ways to drape a saree though the ultimate look might seem to be contrary! It is a style that involves two wide pleats and a large key ring with keys to hold down the double-wrapped pallu. This style is best worn with handloom sarees or light cotton ones, though you can try with a brocade saree as well.

One of the sweetest Saree draping forms in India is undoubtedly the Bengali style. Remember Aishwarya’s look in Devdas and Vidya Balan’s in Parineeta? While they looked stunning in the beautifully draped Saree in Bengali style, we tell you how it goes. In this the pleats around the waist are few, only two big ones while the pallu is wrapped twice around the body. 
If you want to flaunt the Bengali style the traditional way, grab one elegant piece in handloom, cotton or benarasi. And yes, don’t miss that big red bindi on your forehead.

#2. Lehenga style Saree Draping:

When you have to wear your saree for a close one’s wedding, you can drape it to look like you are wearing a lehenga instead! With the help of several pleats tucked around the waist to give the illusion of a lehenga, you can easily convert the regular saree to something more celebratory.

#3. Marathi Saree Draping Style:

Marathi way of draping a saree is really unique, and you can relate this why because most of the women use to work wearing the saree. Owing to its uniqueness, time and again it has defined faminity for the women also working in the Bollywood industry.

The Maharashtrians call it the Nau Vari style. This style came into existence due to the Lavani dancers and mostly seen this on the silver screen. Well, it may look really difficult to drape that 9-yard long Saree, once mastered creates a super stylish look. You may be amazed with the fact that it does not require a petticoat beneath, and can be simple worn over just the shorts.



#4. Odisha Saree Draping Style: 

Odisha Women's Typically wear Sambhalpuri or Bomkari Saree in Vibrant Colors like, Red, Green, Orange, Yellow or Purple.

They create a beautiful contrast in the backdrop of the yellow-brown sandstone temples. You can choose between a cotton version or a silk version of these sarees. Accessorize with silver filigree jewelry and a red bindi.


#5. Gujrati Way Of Draping Saree:

Perhaps the second most popular form of tying a Saree is the Gujarati Style that came into the limelight all the more, courtesy our daily “Saas Bahu” TV serials. It’s quite similar to the classic style, however, the only difference is that you have to start draping the Saree from your left instead.
Now follow the same process as the Nivi form and let the pallu fall over your right shoulder from the back. You can then choose to leave it hanging or tuck the left end of your saree on your left covering your chest. So, go Gujarati this wedding season and flaunt the elaborate work on your “seedha” pallu.

#6. Classic way of Draping Saree:

The classic style is the most common form of draping the Saree which is being followed by woman across the world. This way of tying the Saree is inspired from Nivi form that belongs to Andhra Pradesh. All you need to do is to tuck one end of the Saree (to your front right) inside the petticoat and then wrap it around your waist once.

Now pleat the pallu, slip it under your left hand and make it fall on the left shoulder. Form neat pleats of the center portion of the Saree and tuck it in your waist baring the midriff and completing the style. Find a perfectly-fitted blouse, some matching accessories and there’s no stopping you to look stylish whether in a formal do or a casual event.

Consistency of this primer is gel based and if You have ever used INGLOT face primer then you can compare its consistency with the INGLOT one both are nearly the same. The only difference is in the longevity of the products.      HI GUYS!

     Today I am going to share with you all my top 5 lip-balm's from 2016.
      I know that all of you girl's love balm's like me. I have LIP-BALM from
     different different brands, but for now I am sharing with you all my current 5 lip-balms. I am a
     lip balm lover. I can not live without lip-balm even in summer's, and during winter's it becomes
     a crazy habit of applying lip-balms.


   So, Without Creating any suspense ....

       So without any order, I am going to List down all the ingridients and my opinion on each of  

       them.

       Although I Love All My Lip-Balms.

1.   MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS CANDY WOW-ORANGE:

    

      The stick is enriched with Vitamin E that helps keep your lips hydrated for
      long and keep them protected even in harsh winters. The crayon format makes it easy to
      apply and glides on smoothly. Everyone will go WOW with this pop of color, glossy
      shine, yummy candy flavor and the tinge of style.

   Price: INR 275

     What I like about Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow

     Enriched with Vitamin E– Available in five variants, Raspberry, Mixed Berry, Orange, Cherry,

     and Peach.

 

    So we have so many options to choose with.

    

     I love the pigmentation of the product, It has enough pigments than the most lipbalms available

     in the market.

    Therefore couple of swipes can give medium to full color coverage. I picked “orange”    which my 

    favorite.
    Peach is the lightest of all which can look milky on pigmented lips.
    Each of them has sweet soft fruity scent which is non offensive.
    I love its scent, I just love these. I feel , I will eat them, hahahaha

    But really I love the scent.

  2. MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS ELECTRO POP-PINK SHOCK:

    

          As you can see, I love MAYBELLINE LIP BALMS. And I used this lip balm of Maybelline

          my love for Maybelline Lip Balms increased.

        

         Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Comes in 4 different variants-

          Pink Shock, Oh Orange, Fierce N Tangy, and Berry Bomb.

        So, I purchased the Pink-shock variant, which is not very pigmented but adds a hint of color

        along with moisturizing amazingly well.

        Texture of this lip balm is very soft and glides on the lips perfectly.

        Price: 

   

       INR 165 for 3.5g of product.

     

      My Experience about this LIP-BALM:

   

      As this lip balm is not so pigmented but I love its smell, its texture and moisturizing power.

   

     Staying power of this Lip Balm is around 5-6 hours.

      3.VASELINE LIP CARE- TOTAL MOISTURE:

     

        In my List Vaseline lip care is also available, although this has not much things to say about,

        but why this is in my list is due to its name. Vaseline is a very old and reputed name and not

        only this this lip balm is really moisturizing

       My Experience-

      

       This Lip balm has not any color or scent, but its texture is very smooth and glides on lip very

       easily.

       staying power of this lip balm is around 3-4 hours.

      Price:

    

      INR 40 for g

   

     And this one is really very cheap one in my list.

     4. MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS-LIP BALM:

    

    

  

       This Lip Balm is Very much older than other Maybelline ones, but still in my list because I love

        this one very much.

      

       The time when you need only moisturization not the color then you go for it.

       This one is still awesome.

    

     My Experience:

     This is my all time favorite lip balm and will remain in my vanity until I find something better
      than this. This Maybelline Baby Lips has not any sort of color but, the moisturizing power and
      texture is still very good. The Texture is very creamy and after application it will leave the lips
      moisturized and some sort of gloss on the lips.

     The Staying power of this Lip Balm is around 4-5 hours. It blends into the lips very amazingly.

     5. MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS-LIP BALM:


     

      And This Lip Balm is last in my list. Why I kept this lip balm in my favorite list is as You can
      guess the Name of Maybelline Yes , I mean it.
      I am obsessed with Maybelline Lip Balm. Whenever Maybelline launches any new update of lip
      I go and Purchase.
      Although I Love all lip balm but, Maybelline is my first love.


      My Experience:

      When I purchased This Maybelline Lip balm I was Impressed with the color of the packaging
      stick. And now I can say that I was not wrong. I still love this Lip Balm.
      Its packaging is really cute and lovely. It is also very travel friendly, you can just keep it in your
      pocket or valet.


      The Staying power of this lip balm is around 4-5 hours.

  I have Tried A Lot Of Kajal in affordable Range and This Kajal Stands On my expectations.

   So, Guys First thing First, It costs very reasonable. I Mean to say that this kajal is so affordable.

But it varies from websites to websites.

I bought from Amazon on a discounted price.
So You can check the discount's over the different websites.


TEXTURE:


So The Texture of the kajal is very Smooth. It glides very smoothly into the eyelids.


PACKEGING:


It comes in cute Twist-Up Pencil Like Form and comes in red color.
 It is really very Travel friendly.

   Now the Pigmentation is superb for a single application. Its pigmentation is really better than the
   Maybelline kajal one although I Like Maybelline one for some different reasons, I will tell about
   that later.

   So the single application is enough for that desired result but, You can go over and over. Its totally
   up to you. But after multiple applications it smudge a little. That's I Felt about the multiple swipe.
  



   Staying Power of the kajal on Waterline is about 4-5 hours, and then fades a little. But the Kajal

 No matter how dry your skin is, only a few drops will be enough to moisturize it efficiently. Moreover,

Apart from hydrating the skin, Bio-Oil can improve its elasticity greatly.

It has also faded away my pimple marks and blemishes, thereby giving me an almost even skin tone. Well, it definitely takes considerably longer time than others to show the results, but once they are visible you can’t any more ignore this product. I will comment about stretch marks after some months, as I am using it for now..

My Experience With This:

I really liked its smell, it has not that Lakme's Signature Smell. Its lightweight tube packaging makes it Travel Friendly. Feels really light on the face. And it is affordable too.
