If you are a beginner in the field of makeup and want to know about the good makeup products which are budget friendly too. This post is for you all who are just starting out in the huge world of makeup
Most of the young teenagers would go for the kajal and lip gloss or occasionally some eyeliner, But when you think of building up your makeup kit, then comes the question what are the makeup products you need to store. Are there any product that you really don’t need much as they need an advanced skill set. Must have product in their makeup kit.
So, here’s what I think are good to be in a basic makeup kit have a look and decide accordingly-
1. BB Creams & CC Creams For Base Makeup-
As beginner BB or CC cream must be in your vanity these are the best for daily wear skin. BB Or CC Creams are easy to work with as you don't need to be carefull as in the case of foundations. Just apply them like the regular cream by dotting all over the face and they make the skin better than before. You can try BB creams from Ponds, Garnier, Lotus Maybelline. Apart from all these my favorite is Ponds BB Cream and Garnier too. For CC cream you can check out Lakme CC cream these are really good to work with.
2. Foundations-
If You are getting ready for a party and you need a little more coverage and glossy finish of your skin for that perfact party look then you can try foundations for extra coverage and party look. You can try foundations from the different brands like- Maybelline FitMe , Loreal Nude Foundation, MAC Studio fix and other too which will suit your skin type and tone.
3. Eye Liners-
For that perfact smoky eye look you would need eye liners and you can try Eye Liners from Lakme 9 to 5 range Blue Heaven, Maybelline and many others. You can also try some kohl pencils for that perfect smoky eye makeup.
4. Lip Liners-
Even if you are beginner in makeup, I will suggest including lip liners in your kit as they are great to help prevent the lipstick bleeding and also makes the lipstick lasts longer. Just a tip: Never leave the lip liner by just lining the outer edges, fill the lips in with the lip liner too else when the lipstick wipes off when you eat, drink etc, the lip line peeking through looks terrible. You can choose lip liners from different brands like Miss Claire, Maybelline and others too.
5. Concealers-
Even Concealers are not necessary in my opinion but if you have dark under eye or pigmented eye lids as the darkness over and under the eyes can make you look dull hence a concealer can help with that. Include a concealer which is easy to apply like the stick or pencil form as they are easy to work with that the pot or tub concealers. Just apply and smudge/blend with your ring finger. Use little loose powder and you have done. Concealers should be just a shade lighter than your skin tone.
6. Mascaras-
Mascara can open up your eyes and make you look fresh and light so this is the by default product for beginners and can be used daily without hassle. It is easy to apply products and help to make the eyelashes thicker and longer. You can buy eyelashes from Coloressecne , Maybelline , Lakme .
I personally liked the Coloressence one when I was a beginner in makeup and I still love this.
7. Eye Shadow-
As beginner you don't need a huge collection of Eyeshadow Palette You just need some natural Eye Shadow kits for starting off your makeup, by neutral eye shadows, I mean a gold, bronzy, copper which goes with the Indian and western outfit for the night time and for the day time, you can try shades like matte brown, matte burnt orange such colors will looks good and goes with all attires.
8. Blush-
For applying blushes you need to be some expert in this field but as a beginner you can try blush carefully. If you apply the blush or bronzer incorrectly then they can make you look aged or unattractive. This is why, I think blushes are still be better than the bronzer to keep in your makeup kits. But remember to apply the blush on the apples of the cheeks and then swipes the brush near the sides towards the ears so that it looks natural and not like two circles on the cheeks. You can try peach blush, pink or peachy pinks which goes well with most of the skin tones and makeup looks.
9. Compacts-
Compacts are necessary for all those makeup lovers even if you are a beginner or a expert. Compact will help you with the excessive oil and to get a matte looking face. Most of the times you can use the compact over the BB cream to get some more coverage and decent skin.
10. Lipsticks-
Yes Lipsticks!
These are my babies. They are absolute must have products for beginners or anyone. Even if you don’t use makeup a lot then too lipstick is one thing we all have and know how to use it decently. The colors, textures everything is your choice. But make sure to use lip liners if you will be using lipstick that bleeds or feather.
11. Makeup Brush-
To use blushes or eye shadows you need some makeup brushes too. As makeup beginners you need some base makeup brushes like- brush for blush, for eyeshadow brush lip brush extra.
12. Makeup Remover-
Makeup Remover are must for all either you are a beginner or a pro in makeup. You can use cleansing milk to remove makeup. You can also use coconut oil as makeup remover as you need.
